Thanks!
:)What's the best way to save money on video games?
Have you checked out online rentals companies. I've saved using them. There a few out there, not sure how many of them are still in business, since the one i use gamefly seems to be the leader of the pack by a bunch.
I calculate my savings as in:
1. year before I signed up I bought 6 games for about $300
2. year after I signed up I rented and played about 10 games for about $150. I had a one-game plan.
So for me it's no contest. I don't have a family to buy for but I think this would work well for you and depending on how many games you play could save a lot of money.
You can also keep ( buy) the ones you like at discount (so there's savings there too.)

What's the best way to save money on video games? You're better buying them on line rather than in store,
If you can buy from the distributor direct you'll save a fortune.
Thank you :)
I have many years experience of doing so,
Kids can be very demanding and it's good to see them happy.
That's a VERY good question, try getting a part-time job or a paper route and put it in ur bank. wait like a month and u will have enough money for like 2 or 3 video games. BAM!!What's the best way to save money on video games?
buy them used. Game stop has some used games and people are always selling on Craigslist/Ebay. Just make sure they arent scratched.
Turn in your old games for new ones at any Gamestop store. That's what I do. They also have a deal where if you buy 2 used games, you get a 3rd free.
u can go to gamestop or EB games and buy used games. or like the other guy said. buy them online
one way is to buy them used or another is to buy them online
Everyone here has great tips. But what i've found is after some games have been used a while at Video Rental stores, they tend to sell them cheaper... ;)
Best way to save money on games is...... Not to buy any.
okay, seriously, try to find stores that sell used games. They are always cheaper than new games, and many stores will have a gunarantee that if the game doesn't work, or is scratched they will replace it. (using a company here in California, Game Crazy, which can be found in Hollywood Video stores, they have a lifetime guarantee on their used games)
Buying games online might seem cheaper, but then you need to add in the shipping charge, and after that they typically come out to be close to the same. But this is another option.
The best way is a website I like to purchase video games, movies, etc. Its an extension of ebay but not all the bidding and b/s. Its half.com Its a great site and has games at great prices
