Does the NBA make money when a series goes to 5 games instead of 4?

for example, like in the first round of the west. lakers beat the jazz 4-1. does the NBA make money because LA plays one more game at the staples center? because it would be reasonable for LA to lose on purpose.Does the NBA make money when a series goes to 5 games instead of 4?
Yes, because more games in a series means more revenue, more TV time, etc. It's not desirable for players however because more games played could mean more fatigued players, especially if Team A and Team B have a seven game series, with the winner playing the Team C/Team D series which was decided in four games. Team C or D would be less fatigued.
OF COURSE. THE MORE GAMES PLAYED, THE MORE MONEY GENERATED

GO LAKERSDoes the NBA make money when a series goes to 5 games instead of 4?
Yes, NBA does make more money the more games it is.

So, lets just say..the League is not very happy with what the Cavaliers are doing.
Well, the teams do indeed make money with each game at home and the NBA benefits off of every game.

Losing on purpose is obviously stupid, but the Hawks would have profited if they forced Cleveland into a game 6. But winning comes before everything, no matter what.Does the NBA make money when a series goes to 5 games instead of 4?
yes, but no team would lose on purpose?
