If I trade in games and game systems to GameStop do I get money back or do they put it on a card?

I have a few games/game systems that I don't want anymore, if I trade them into GameStop will they give me money or just put the money on a GameStop card?If I trade in games and game systems to GameStop do I get money back or do they put it on a card?
they give very little money then try reselling it at almost new game price

They either put it on a card, give you store credit, or less cash then the previous ones. So say your trading in black ops used. they'd offer you 30 bucks on a giftcard or store crredit, or 20 bccks cash. this isnt quite correct and some places might not give you cash
You can do either but if you choose to get store credit they give you more back but you will be limited to gamestop and barnes and nobles. Barnes and nobles own gamestop oddly enough.If I trade in games and game systems to GameStop do I get money back or do they put it on a card?
