Why do elected politicians have to play all these funding and money games to stay in office?

Criticize all you want, but how does one stay in office without the donations of groups you then have to cast votes in favor of? I would like some ideas from the VOTERS on this! Thanks in advance. Why do elected politicians have to play all these funding and money games to stay in office?
I would run my way, sir and do not give up on my principles. Asking these questions is very important. I would vote for a republican or democrat in a heartbeat if I knew they were not in bed with big business and also give them money. The people need to take this back from the rich companies, oil, drug and business. I hope you do well.

You would have my vote, just for asking this opinion, republican, independent, democrat, libertarian or even tea party...lol

Actually make sense, and actually provide realistic answers and solutions to problems and questions.

Research Jesse Ventura's campaign for governor of Minnesota. Only raised $300,000. Meanwhile his repub and democrat opponents raised millions upon millions. Jesse won. Why? Cause he ownt the other typical politicians with common sense. Also jesse was an independent. Independents ftw.Why do elected politicians have to play all these funding and money games to stay in office?
IT IS THE WAY THE SYSTEM IS SET UP.......

EVERYONE SHOULD GET THE SAME AMOUNT OF MONEY AND YOU SHOULD HAVE TO DO WHAT THE PEOPLE WANT AND THEN YOU WOULD GET KICKED OUT OF OFFICE IF YOU DID NOT UPHOLD YOUR WORD......

BY THE WAY, WHY ARE LOBBYIST STILL ALLOWED....
Because we voters put them in to take care of the money. Monetary needs breeds more monetary needs. Take money out of the equation and many politicians will quit! The ones who stay will stay for power.
