Is playing games for money haram?

I am a 13 year old muslim and i want to play games with my brothers for money. Like playing video games and blackjack stuff like that is it haram? like religous or bad. tell me how haram is it if it is?Is playing games for money haram?
According to Islam it is Haram. How haram it is depends on how effective it is. If u really put ur brothers into trouble then it is a lot haram. If it is just for a little fun and the harm caused by it is neglectible, then the punishment by Allah will also be neglectible. Think about ur daily life, u do more haram things like not listening to ur mom. Try to care about those Haram that is more effective. Not playing money games is for those who never did anything bad in his entire life and wanna make a record. Is playing games for money haram?
Try to think about your actions: if someone will get hurt in any way, it is not a good idea and that might be the basis of the law.

Maybe you could play games for tokens, like poker chips, or use pennies and then give them back to the original owner after the game is over. I used to play card games like that since it is also illegal where I live to gamble for money.

We would play for things like pennies or pretzels, candy, etc. and it would be fun, but no one would be out anything afterwards and we gave the pennies back -we just used them as convenient tokens. You can decide ahead of time what would be fun for you to play for and if it is something edible, everyone can pitch in and then share some snacks also while you play. Maybe have some sandwiches and drinks, chips, hors doevres and the like, and play for the token items. That way it remains just a game since the token items are just tokens and not real money.
