Haha if your old enough get a job, but your birthday and holidays like Christmas are easy ways to get games. Buy them used and youll save a lot of money, but get them from a store like GameStop or FYE cause if you buy the game damaged theyll trade ya for another copy.

Well I work 40hrs a week ( usually more ), after bills, food, and girlfriend ( though i consider that a bill too lol ) i have enough left over to buy a game or two... i use to just go to a gamestore and buy a used game i havent played when it got cheaper... but i've decided on an easier thing.

either 15$ or 25$ a month ( depending on 1 or 2 games out ), no late fees, and tons of good games to get too. I normally would spend more than 100$ a month on 2 or 3 games and beat them within the month or so and then trade them back in for lik 30$... it sucked. Now i have good games, keep them till im completely done with them then get new ones right away...
Went from playing over 8hrs a day easily, to maybe 4hrs tops now. This saved me money and time. Considering i dont have as much time to play as i used too.
Plus with the 2 games out, we can get 2 copies of a game ( since we have 2 xboxs ) and ether play co op or single player. I mean it sucks if you both want to play the same game and both only have a few hours to play it.How do you hardcore gamers find the money to buy all your games?

PS. for #3 im not sure if that is still possible with the newer systems like 360 or ps3 but i have an old Xbox and it has a chip where i can download games for free i have maybe more then 1000 games on it most of them are old games like the super nintendo zelda etc.. My cousin has the chip also for playstation and playstation 2.
I normally don't, i've honestly bought a "new" game twice in the last year (Pokemon HeartGold and StarCraft 2). Haha if your old enough get a job, but your birthday and holidays like Christmas are easy ways to get games. Buy them used and youll save a lot of money, but get them from a store like GameStop or FYE cause if you buy the game damaged theyll trade ya for another copy.
I actually wait and buy games when they've come down in price. I only buy games that are within my interest (i.e., no shooters because the genre is done), and only games that get good reviews.

Best Buy does not buy your games. you can only return them there because it is only an electronics store, not a game store. If you want to get more for your money, I would suggest checking out Game Crazy at Hollywood video or the game store at Blockbuster. Other than that, it's really tough to sell games at a decent price, unless you have a garage sale.

How much money does Game Stop give you for selling games? Is there a certain percentage? Any advise welcome.?
Usually gamestop gives you like 15-20% off the retail tag. I've heard stories when people would get $30 for a wii console and then gamestop would sell it for $130.00 ...
They are ripping people off if you ask me. The only good thing is you can go and get your cheap change right away from one of their stores.

They pay my 60-80% off the market price and paypal the money on the next day after they receive the package from me. I usually get cash in 3-2 days, so I'm very happy. I just shop for new games right away :)

My games were old and took too much space on my book shelf, they just gave me cash in 3 days no questions asked. I wanted to sell Street Fighter 4 , brand new case , instruction manuel , game was only played 3 or 4 times they said $11.64 ! LOL , i laughed at them and hung up i also called gamecrazy and they offered me a few cents more ! My point is you will recieve a much better return if you sell on ebay or craigslist or even to a friend . If you like platform games, try Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex, from the same series as the previously mentioned games, but with a platforming focus. Spyro: A New Beginning has fun combat and a great story and the other two have funny comedy, and unique and even better gameplay than Spyro. You have some combat moves, but the real hook is the ability to control large mutants called Titans which have unique abilities. Not just elements, but stuff like spikes, telekinesis, and even a moldy monster. I'll give you a link to one of the games if you want to see gameplay. The game is pretty cheap as a hard copy and possibly cheap for XBLA.
