I want to get Fallout 3 at Gamestop, but don't have money. Will these games have enough trade-in value?

I want to get the $80 Fallout 3 Collector's Edition for Xbox 360 at Gamestop, but don't have any actual money, so I need to trade games in.



Games I am willing to trade:

Gears of War 1 - Xbox 360

Mass Effect - Xbox 360

8 DS Games



All in perfect condition.

Is that enough trade in value to get the game?I want to get Fallout 3 at Gamestop, but don't have money. Will these games have enough trade-in value?
gears of war: $12-less since the current used price is 34.99

mass effect: $10-less because the current used price is 29.99

DS games--- at least $35 if u have a lot of old games, at least $50 if most of them are new

That's a lot of games to trade in just to get one game in return... Think of how much you paid for Gears of War and Mass Effect, or how much someone else paid before gifting them to you. Also think of those eight DS games. I don't know what games they are, but I'd wager they ran about $30-40 each.



Gears of War = $60

Mass Effect = $60

8x DS games @ ~$30/ea = $240



Obviously the games are not worth what they were when new, but $360 or more was spent on those games and you're now trading them away for less than 15% while still not receiving enough to buy a new game.



My recommendation is you scrounge up some money in other ways and if you still don't have enough by Christmas then make sure Fallout 3 is on your list so that someone else can buy it for you ;)

you get 30% extra for trade ins toward fallout 3 and if you have gamestop weekly emails you get an extra 10% on ds/psp trade ins, then if you have the edge card you get 10% on top of that, so you can get 150% of the normal trade in value on the ds games, and 140% on the xbox games. you should be a good.
gear and Mass effect will get you $30, and as for the 8 DS games, it depends on what they are, I know there is one DS game that they will buy for $30, but unless you have 8 DS games released within the last year I would ay no. You might want to add more game.not alot like PC or Gamecube or PS2.Games you dont play anymore,or you could trade the system in.or Just rent it.
Well depends which games you trade and how many. and if not just sell them good games and get $60 plus tax and buy it. (easiest way)

gamestop is a cheap consumer scam, and they won't give but 30 USD.
