Does anybody else find sports video games a waste of money?

I find sports games a waste of money because after 1 year or 2 its worth like $2-5. Sure its fun but its good to get the year before the new one.Does anybody else find sports video games a waste of money?
Theyre not worth it. Things like black ops and modren warfare 2, now were talking a game to pay for.
If you focus on one or two of the sport games then I find it value for money. Of course the value drops but it is great fun to play with friends and family. Also the updated playing strips and addition of players and their skills help make the sport games a value for money.

All in all, it is the persons view that decides whether or not it is a waste of money.Does anybody else find sports video games a waste of money?
I agree if it doesn't let you update rosters or import files for past seasons I don't buy them. Pretty much I just play simulator games without graphics where you just call plays and manage the team.
I like the sports games, but I prefer the RPGs. I love Dragon Warrior.Does anybody else find sports video games a waste of money?
Yeah, there o.k. but not really worth the money or to camp outside a store. Either.
There fun to have. I'll get Madden like every 3 years just so I have a game to take a break from the others.
I agree. also if you buy one you've pretty much bought them all.
