I know people work for companies every day and make good money just by testing games for them. Does anyone out there know how I can get a job doing that to make extra money this summer. I have checked some places online...but they want to charge me to do it...which seems to be a fraud...please any info will be appreciated...Can you really make money at testing games for companies?

Its actually not as fun as it sounds. If you really want to try it, you'd have to call up the actual video game companies and get approved to become a beta-tester. That's the safest way to go without getting ripped off by a 3rd party companyCan you really make money at testing games for companies?
Some of the guys %26amp; girls who do the Beat-Testing also have a background/Degree in programming. They don't just report the bugs, they recommend fixes/patches/etc...
Overall, They are VERY GOOD at the games, not just your average player. They are able to finish them before most people would get through the warm-up, even "Push them" to the literal breaking point...
A good place to start would be Video Game Competitions. I understand they recruit from there...
