Any legal recourse if my friend uses my money to buy video games?

Okay so my (now ex) friend agreed to trade in some games for me at Game Stop and the total came out to like 65 dollars then later that night he got mad at me for something and now he might not give the card back but if he uses it at Game Stop do I have any legal recourse? Cause he'd be spending money I didn't allow him to use which would be stealing right? Help me out here.Any legal recourse if my friend uses my money to buy video games?
No It would not be stealing in the sense that you could or should call the police.

This would be a civil matter. Your only recourse would be to take him to small claims court.Any legal recourse if my friend uses my money to buy video games?
Once you give money to somoene you can only get it back with negotiation. Just talking to a lawyer would cost you more than 65 dollars and the police won't file charges without a break in.

NEGOTIATE. Apologize to your friend, be SUUUPER nice. Then once you get your money back restart the argument. If that doesn't work tell his parents and yours that he stole from you.Any legal recourse if my friend uses my money to buy video games?
You really think there is a legal recourse for this? Stealing?
For $65.00? You should feel lucky that is all it cost you to get that guy out of your life.
